Jewel
Jewel was the first mustang I ever trained straight from the BLM corrals. She was part of the Teen's and Oregon Mustang Training Challenge. After working with Jewel, I knew I wanted to continue working with mustangs. It is so cool to see a horse transform from being untouched and frightful to being a willing and confident partner. Jewel was an incredibly smart horse and progressed so much over the three months I had her. Pictured in the bottom right is Jewel in her forever home! She was adopted by an amazing family up in Washington who wanted to continue her training and eventually use her as a trail horse. I couldn't have been happier with where she ended up!
Renegade
Renegade was part of the Oregon Rescue Challenge and the first horse I started from the ground up. He was a very calm and sweet horse, and found a great home in Bend, Oregon as a young girl's first horse. He was a great horse to practicing colt starting on as he was very level headed. He was 12 years old when I started him, and came from Harmony New Beginnings Horse Rescue. Before that, he had been a stallion up until recently and was kept in a pasture all alone and never touched. He definitely has a much better life now!
